The song’s resurgence is driven by Gen Z’s emotional connection to its haunting yet hopeful tone, often paired with cinematic or heartfelt videos on the platform. While Radiohead haven’t released a new album since 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool, the band just released the live record, Hail to the Thief (Live Recordings 2003—2009), on August 13, and recently formed a new business entity earlier this year, which suggests that an upcoming new chapter for the band is possibly on the horizon.
