Architects scored their first Billboard No. 1 song of their career, topping the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Everything Ends,” which climbed two spots this week to reach the top spot. Formed in Brighton, England, in 2004, the band previously reached a peak of No. 5 with “Animals” in 2021, with another chart entry, “Dead Butterflies,” reaching a prior high of No. 18. “Everything Ends” also climbed five places to reach No. 16 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart on the strength of 2.1 million audience impressions over the past week, becoming the band’s highest-charting single on the tally. The track is the lead single from Architects’ 11th studio album, The Sky, the Earth & All Between, which debuted at No. 7 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart in March and has sold 74,000 equivalent units to date.
